The best thing about being a Northern Utah family photographer is visiting the most gorgeous places as a part of my job. The first time I drove to the Albion Basin, I couldn't believe my eyes. It is GORGEOUS! I grew up in Utah and I don't remember seeing anything like this. It felt magical, and I wanted to capture that magic in my photos. The wildflowers kept this little one marveling at the views. I could have stayed all day! These are the moments photographers live for!

Consider the Color Palette Choose muted, earthy tones like sage, soft navy, charcoal, dusty rose, mocha, dusty blue, terra cotta, and soft mauve that blend with fall tones and don't compete with the natural tones found in nature. Mix and match colors that complement each other, avoiding that “everyone in matching outfits” look. Incorporate neutral colors like cream
