Northern Utah Family Photographer/ Albion Basin photoshoot
The best thing about being a Northern Utah family photographer is visiting the most gorgeous places as a part of my job. The first time I drove to the Albion Basin, I couldn't believe my eyes. It is GORGEOUS! I grew up in Utah and I don't remember seeing anything like this. It felt magical, and I wanted to capture that magic in my photos.
The wildflowers kept this little one marveling at the views. I could have stayed all day! These are the moments photographers live for!
Here are some tips for visiting Albion Basin!
Wildflowers peak during July, but so do crowds. Plan your session for early morning if you can.
Any vehicle can make it to the top of the Albion Basin, but check the road status before you leave. Access to the Summer Road is limited by parking availability.
Bring layers. Even in the summer, it can be cool!
STAY ON THE TRAILS! The wildflowers are extremely delicate, so keep to the roped areas so that they can be enjoyed for years to come!
